Vulnerability Insight: Multiple flaws are due to improper validation of user-supplied input via 'file' and 'path' parameters, which allows attackers to read arbitrary files via a ../(dot dot) sequences. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation may allow an attacker to obtain sensitive information, which can lead to launching further attacks. Affected Software/OS: Typo3 version 6.1.5 and probably before. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
