Vulnerability Insight: Multiple errors in the APIFTP Server (APIFTPServer.exe) when handling certain specially crafted packets sent to TCP port 10260 and be exploited to cause a NULL pointer dereference or an infinite loop. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation may allow remote attackers to cause the application to crash, creating a denial of service condition. Affected Software/OS: Optima PLC APIFTP version 2.14.6 and prior. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
