Vulnerability Insight: Multiple flaws are due to: - The wp-content\plugins\kento-post-view-counter\index.php script not properly sanitizing user-supplied input to the 'kento_pvc_geo' POST parameter. - The wp-content\plugins\kento-post-view-counter\kento-pvc-admin.php script not properly sanitizing user-supplied input to the 'kento_pvc_numbers_lang', 'kento_pvc_today_text' and 'kento_pvc_total_text' parameter. - No CSRF token used for POST forms Vulnerability Impact: Successfully exploiting this issue allow remote attacker to execute arbitrary script code in a user's browser session within the trust relationship. Affected Software/OS: WordPress Kento Post Viewer Counter Plugin <= 2.8 Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
