Descripción: | Summary: Apple Safari web browser is prone to remote file access vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: Flaw is due an error generated in safari web browser while handling feed, feeds and feedsearch URL types for RSS feeds. Vulnerability Impact: Successful remote exploitation can potentially be exploited to gain access to sensitive information and launch other attacks. Affected Software/OS: Apple Safari 3.1.2 and prior on Windows. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
