Descripción:	Summary: SolarFTP Server is prone to a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: The flaw is due to format string error while parsing 'USER' command, which can be exploited to crash the FTP service by sending 'USER' command with an overly long username parameter. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service. Affected Software/OS: Flexbyte Software Solar FTP Server 2.1, other versions may also be affected. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
