| Descripción: | Summary: WordPress WP Banners Lite Plugin is prone to an XSS vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: The flaw is due to improper validation of user-supplied input to the wpbanners_show.php script via cid parameter. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary HTML or web script in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. Affected Software/OS: WordPress WP Banners Lite Plugin version 1.40 and prior Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
