Title: | RedHat Security Advisory RHSA-2008:0486 |
Summary: | NOSUMMARY |
Description: | Description: The remote host is missing updates announced in advisory RHSA-2008:0486. The nfs-utils package provides a daemon for the kernel NFS server and related tools. A flaw was found in the nfs-utils package build. The nfs-utils package was missing TCP wrappers support, which could result in an administrator believing they had access restrictions enabled when they did not. (CVE-2008-1376) Users of nfs-utils are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which contain a backported patch to resolve this issue. Solution: Please note that this update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network, launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command: up2date http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2008-0486.html http://www.redhat.com/security/updates/classification/#moderate Risk factor : High CVSS Score: 7.5 |
