Title: | Debian: Security Advisory (DSA-2478-1) |
Summary: | The remote host is missing an update for the Debian 'sudo' package(s) announced via the DSA-2478-1 advisory. |
Description: | Summary: The remote host is missing an update for the Debian 'sudo' package(s) announced via the DSA-2478-1 advisory. Vulnerability Insight: It was discovered that sudo misparsed network masks used in Host and Host_List stanzas. For the stable distribution (squeeze), this problem has been fixed in version 1.7.4p4-2.squeeze.3. For the unstable distribution (sid), this problem will be fixed soon. We recommend that you upgrade your sudo packages. Affected Software/OS: 'sudo' package(s) on Debian 6. Solution: Please install the updated package(s). CVSS Score: 7.2 CVSS Vector: AV:L/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
