Summary: | The remote host is missing an update for the 'xz'; package(s) announced via the FEDORA-2022-c69e286f8d advisory. |
Description: | Summary: The remote host is missing an update for the 'xz' package(s) announced via the FEDORA-2022-c69e286f8d advisory. Vulnerability Insight: XZ Utils are an attempt to make LZMA compression easy to use on free (as in freedom) operating systems. This is achieved by providing tools and libraries which are similar to use than the equivalents of the most popular existing compression algorithms. LZMA is a general purpose compression algorithm designed by Igor Pavlov as part of 7-Zip. It provides high compression ratio while keeping the decompression speed fast. Affected Software/OS: 'xz' package(s) on Fedora 35. Solution: Please install the updated package(s). CVSS Score: 9.0 CVSS Vector: AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:C/I:C/A:C |
