Vulnerability Insight: The flaw is due to error in createElement method which does not initialize certain data structures during execution when processing crafted JavaScript code. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow attacker to cause a denial of service. Affected Software/OS: Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.x and 7.x. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
